Integrative Bodywork

Reawaken. Reconnect. Rebuild.

What is Integrative Bodywork?

Integrative Bodywork is hands-on nervous system work — combining Structural Integration with Integrative Coaching — designed to support deep, lasting transformation.

We’re not just chasing symptoms. We’re working with the whole system — structure, function, sensation, and awareness — to help your body come back online in places where it’s gone offline. That might mean waking up movement where you’ve felt stuck, restoring ease where there’s been strain, or bringing your awareness into areas you’ve been disconnected from for years.

It’s not about “fixing” you — it’s about creating conditions for your body to remember how to relax, repair, and move with integrity.

This work blends:

  • Myofascial release

  • Nervous system regulation

  • Postural re-education

  • Intuitive, skillful touch

  • Real-time collaboration with your body’s wisdom

We’re not grinding through muscles like you’re a slab of meat or a machine. We’re working with your system — listening through touch, offering new sensory information, and gently inviting the body back into relationship with itself.

Some sessions are deeply relaxing. Some are weirdly emotional. Some are quiet and meditative. Others are chatty, curious, and interactive.

Every body is different. Every session is co-created.

How Can Bodywork Help Me?

This work is about more than pain relief — it’s about helping your body become a place you actually want to live in.

Some of the reasons people come see me:

  • Chronic tension in the neck, shoulders, low back, or hips

  • Aches and pains that come back again and again

  • Feeling “off,” “crooked,” or like your body doesn’t move the way it should

  • Shallow breathing or difficulty relaxing

  • Fatigue or discomfort from posture, work habits, or movement patterns

  • Emotional tension that shows up physically — like armor you didn’t mean to put on

  • Disconnection from the body, or feeling like your body isn’t fully yours

  • Curiosity about the link between posture, pain, personality, and past experiences

  • A desire to feel more confident, grounded, and expressed in your physical form

  • Craving more ease, more space, more pleasure in your movement and daily life

Whether you’re working through something specific or just have the sense that your body’s asking for attention in a deeper way — this work can help you reconnect, realign, and reclaim what’s been offline.

This work helps because we’re not just rubbing muscles or chasing symptoms. We’re working with your fascia — the connective tissue that wraps around every muscle, bone, and joint in your body — to shift how you move, feel, and relate to yourself.

Fascia holds tension patterns, posture habits, even emotional history. When we work with it directly (and gently), we’re not just improving structure — we’re updating your body’s sense of safety, orientation, and possibility.

It’s not about forcing change. It’s about giving your system the input it needs to remember how to organize itself according to its intelligent nature.

What to Expect from a Bodywork Session

Every session is a little different, because every body is different. But here’s the general flow:

We’ll start with a short check-in about what’s been going on in your body, how you’ve been feeling, and anything you want me to know. Then we’ll do some assessments and tests to track your posture and movement. Once we have the info we need, we’ll get you on the table and begin the hands-on work.

This isn’t a “lie there and zone out” kind of massage. I’ll be gently guiding your attention, helping you notice subtle sensations, and inviting parts of your body back online. That might mean movement, breath, imagery, or conversation — whatever helps your system feel safe and engaged.

I use slow, specific touch — never forceful, never rushed. Sensations might be intense at times, but they never have to be painful. You’re always in charge of how much sensation you’re up for that day. (Safe word = carrot 🥕)

Most people leave feeling taller, freer, more grounded, and more connected to themselves.

In the days after a session, you might feel shifts — physically, emotionally, even energetically. Some people notice soreness, emotional release, or just a general sense of “processing.” Others feel weird for a day or two, and then really good… Your body will let us know what it needs next.

Our Map: The 10-Series

The 10-Series is a structured, full-body progression of sessions designed to restore alignment, ease, and integrity — both in your physical form and the way you move through life.

In my practice, it’s not a rigid protocol. It’s a map — and we take the journey together, at your pace, with your body leading the way.

Every session has a specific goal (like freeing the breath, grounding the feet, or organizing the spine), but how we reach that goal depends entirely on you. Sometimes we complete a session’s goals in one visit. Sometimes it takes two. Sometimes we pause or pivot to address what your body is asking for. That’s not a detour — that’s the work.

Each session builds on the last, creating a new sense of internal organization. You’ll start to notice changes in your posture, coordination, breath, and emotional state — not because I “fixed” anything, but because we created the right conditions for your body to remember how to work as a whole.

Don’t want to commit to all ten right away?
No problem. Many clients start with a single session — either to address a specific concern, or to just feel things out. If the work resonates, we can continue with the next step in the series.

I’m not here to sell you a package — I’m here to offer a pathway. You get to decide how (and when) you want to walk it.

  • Physical focus:
Opening the shoulders, chest, ribs, and diaphragm to restore natural breath function. We create space for the lungs and mobilize the tissue that’s been held tight by bracing, slouching, or collapse.

    Emotional / energetic themes:
Making space. Letting yourself take up oxygen. Releasing the feeling that you’re “holding your breath” through life. This session often brings a sense of relief, release, and invigoration as breath expands again.

  • Physical focus:
This session focuses on the feet and lower legs — restoring structure, mobility, and awareness to your foundation. We address tension and collapse in the arches, ankles, and calves, and help the feet start to spread out and participate in movement again.

    Emotional / energetic themes:
    Safety. Groundedness. Stability.
When your feet can actually feel the floor, your whole system starts to trust the ground beneath you. This session is great for folks who feel floaty, disconnected, or like they’re “not fully here.” It can bring a surprising sense of calm, presence, or even grief as the body returns to contact with the earth.

  • Physical focus:
This session addresses the sides of the body — often neglected, often tight AF. We work with the ribs, obliques, outer hips, and shoulders to create length and fluidity between your front and back. This is where the “sleeve” of the body starts to organize and hang more effortlessly.

    Emotional / energetic themes:
    Balance. Perspective. Expansion.
Session 3 is about moving through the world with more ease — less effort, more glide. It often brings a sense of being held together, without needing to clench or collapse. Clients sometimes notice a shift in how they relate to the world around them — more responsive, less reactive.

  • Physical focus:
This session centers on the deep inner legs and pelvic floor — the root of your core. We’re not just stabilizing — we’re inviting lift, expansion, and upward flow from your base. The goal isn’t to grip or collapse — it’s to soften, spread, and draw support upward through the legs, like straws pulling life force from the earth.

    Emotional / energetic themes:
    Receptivity. Support. Inner power.
This is where the ground comes up to meet you. It’s about feeling held from below, not because you’re bracing — but because your body knows how to receive support. Clients often describe this session as quietly potent, empowering, and deeeep. This is where you meet the root of your power.

  • Physical focus:
This session dives into the front of the core — hip flexors, abdomen, and deep belly tissue — areas that are almost always overworking, under-feeling, or completely shut down. We’re working to soften what’s gripped, wake up what’s offline, and create space for breath, organs, and emotional truth to move again.

    Emotional / energetic themes:
Control. Vulnerability. Digestion — literal and emotional.
This is often the hardest session for people — not because of pain, but because of what lives here. The gut is where we hold shame, anxiety, power struggles, and protection mechanisms that have kept us armored. Touch here can feel intimate, unfamiliar, or even a little scary… and also deeply, deeply freeing.

For many, this is the session where things shift on a soul level.
It’s not about flattening the belly — it’s about feeling it. And trusting what it’s trying to tell you.

  • Physical focus:
This session works with the back body — spine, sacrum, glutes, and the backs of the legs. We're ungluing the tension that keeps you hunched, braced, or trying to disappear. It’s about giving the spine back its flexibility and its strength — not standing up straight, but standing up powerfully.

    Emotional / energetic themes:
    Support. Boundaries. Self-honoring.
The back is where we carry what we don’t say. Where we store pressure, perfectionism, and the weight of being “the strong one.” This session can feel like reclaiming your right to be supported — by your body, your breath, and your own damn self. It’s not about “fixing posture.” It’s about not collapsing when the world asks too much of you.

You get to stop being nice and start being real. You get to take up space and have your own back.

  • Physical focus:
This session focuses on the head, neck, and jaw — areas that are almost always tight, braced, or misaligned. We work with the base of the skull, the cervical spine, the throat, the jaw… all the places where you hold stress, overthinking, over-explaining, and silent screaming. When these structures find support again, the head can literally float — restoring ease, clarity, and vertical alignment.

    Emotional / energetic themes:
    Expression. Visibility. Trust.
This session can bring a flood of sensation and emotion — especially for those who’ve learned to hold their tongue, fake a smile, or suppress truth to stay safe. It’s about releasing the pressure to “hold it together” with your face and finally let go from the top down.

For many people, this is where things start to integrate in a whole new way — you feel taller, clearer, and more yourself. Like your body finally knows where your head belongs.

  • Physical focus:
We return to the lower half of the body — feet, legs, hips, and low spine — but now with your full system online. This session focuses on integration, helping the lower body relate to the core and spine in a new way. You might feel more grounded, more powerful, or like your legs are finally working with you instead of against you.

    Emotional / energetic themes:
    Embodiment. Confidence. Trust.
This is where your foundation gets real. You’ve done the deep work — now your lower body gets to step into its role as a source of strength, clarity, and propulsion. For many people, this is when movement starts to feel fluid, pleasurable, and personalized. Your walk, your stance, your presence — it all starts clicking into place.

  • Physical focus:
This session brings integration to the upper body — spine, ribs, shoulders, arms, and hands. We’re connecting your breath, your reach, and your ability to express yourself through the upper structures. This work helps you lift without strain, reach without collapsing, and open without overextending.

    Emotional / energetic themes:
    Expression. Expansion. Radiance.
This is where your upper body learns it doesn’t have to brace to be strong. Where you stop leading with your chin and start leading with your heart. It’s about finding ease in extension — being visible, expressive, connected, without losing yourself.

Clients often leave this session standing taller, breathing bigger, and feeling like their posture finally reflects who they are becoming.

  • Physical focus:
This session brings it all together — the upper and lower body, core and limbs, breath and movement. We revisit what needs refining, reinforce what’s working, and help your system settle into its new, more integrated state. This is about fine-tuning your body’s orchestration so you can move through life with ease, fluidity, and grace.

    Emotional / energetic themes:
    Wholeness. Integration. Identity.
Session 10 often feels like a return — but this time, you’re returning as someone new. You’re not just standing differently — you’re being differently. Clients describe feeling calm, clear, and deeply connected to themselves. Some say it feels like landing in their body for the first time. Others say it feels like coming home.

This isn’t an ending — it’s a launch point. You’ve reorganized your body. You’ve reclaimed your power. Now you get to live in it.

FAQs

  • Not at all. You’re welcome to try one session and see how it feels. Some people just want a tune-up. Others end up diving deep. You’ll know what’s right for you.

  • It involves touch, but it’s not your typical massage. This work is slower, more specific, and interactive. You’ll be participating — noticing sensations, shifting your awareness, maybe even moving or breathing with me. It’s more like a conversation between your body and my hands.

  • Nope — and it shouldn’t. I work with your nervous system, not against it. Some sensations might be intense, but nothing should feel sharp or overwhelming. You’re always in control, and we use a real-ass safe word if needed (hint: it’s 🥕).

  • You’ll stay partially clothed — wearing a swimsuit, underwear, or gym shorts + sports bra. Avoid both loose, baggy clothes and long sleeves / leggings.

  • Maybe — especially if we touched areas that were deeply held. Some clients feel energized, some feel sleepy, and some feel weird for a day or two before feeling better. It’s all part of the integration process.

  • Absolutely. I work with a high level of attunement and consent. This is not about pushing past discomfort — it’s about supporting your body’s capacity to open safely. If you’re healing from trauma, this work can be supportive — and I’ll always refer out if something’s beyond my scope.

You deserve care. Let’s make sure you’re getting what you need, from the right people at the right time.

  • Beautiful. Welcome. You don’t have to be polished or prepared to be here. My space is designed to hold your full humanity — mess, magic, and all.
